We are currently looking for a Staff Security Engineer in EMEA.

Accountabilities:

  • Integrate security best practices across the entire software development lifecycle to ensure robust protection of products, infrastructure, and customer data.
  • Design and develop scalable security tools and processes to proactively identify, remediate, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct threat modeling, penetration testing, and code reviews for web and mobile applications to maintain enterprise-grade security standards.
  • Partner with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security within CI/CD pipelines and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead security awareness initiatives through training, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate with product teams, leadership, and external security vendors to manage vulnerability disclosures and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide strategic guidance on cryptography, secure coding standards, compliance frameworks, and emerging security trends.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in web application security, with strong expertise in identifying, exploiting, and remediating vulnerabilities.
  • Proficiency in applied cryptography, threat modeling, penetration testing, and secure software development practices (SSDLC, CI/CD).
  • Experience implementing and managing tools such as SAST, SCA, DAST, and container scanning in large-scale environments.
  • Strong programming background, ideally in Python, and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience collaborating across teams to deliver secure cloud and SaaS solutions, as well as managing vulnerability and disclosure programs.
  • Strong analytical mindset, hands-on problem-solving skills, and passion for advancing global cybersecurity standards.
