About This Role
OutSystems is looking for a Platform Engineer to work as an individual contributor on a team focused on CI/CD for the entire product stack, including infrastructure, services, and low-code applications.

The team embraces Platform Engineering principles, moving from a bespoke CI/CD customization approach for each dev team to a product mindset.

This means building products that create features to provide value and reduce the cognitive load on development teams.

We need someone who is driven to get things done, passionate about automation and continuous improvement, and can help their team flourish in an Agile environment.

As part of maintaining the platform, some capacity for operational tasks, including solving tickets, is required.
What You Will Do Or Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive initiatives end-to-end, from design to deployment.
  
  
• Must have a 'Can do' attitude.
  
  
• Ability to foresee and raise future issues with respect to initiatives.
  
  
• Lead and participate in daily standups and operational calls as needed.
  
  
• Document platform changes and ensure proper knowledge sharing.
  
  
• Provide production support for your deployments and related systems.
  
  
• Review, debug, and improve existing code as necessary.
  

Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed

• 2+ years of software development experience.
  
  
• Mandatory proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
  
  
• Strong experience with AWS technologies is mandatory, and knowledge of Azure is a nice-to-have.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Kubernetes, ECS, etc.).
  
  
• Strong knowledge of and experience with AWS infrastructure-level and platform-level components.
  
  
• Mandatory knowledge of CI/CD for both applications and infrastructure, with orchestration based on AWS Step Functions being a nice-to-have.
  
  
• Experience with infrastructure management using tools like Terraform Cloud or Spacelift is important.
  
  
• Understanding complex architecture, being able to understand problem statements, and providing low-level solutions.
  
  
• Experience with GIT-based version control systems (code repositories) like GitHub.
  
  
• Moderate knowledge of Linux internals and Shell Scripting.
  
  
• Fluency in English and good communication skills.
  
  
• Comfortable collaborating with teammates working from around the globe.
