You will be responsible to:


Provides support and services in relation to the identification, development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.

Assesses and/or develops program logic for new IT solutions or analyses and modifies logic in existing systems.

Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements solutions.

Analyses requirements, tests and integrates solution components.

Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.

May test new code and typically works in a high efficient “Agile” development environment.

Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.


+ Partner with internal clients to understand the IT needs of multiple stakeholders, understanding the business and identifying priorities for the development and revision of software solutions

+ Conduct analysis on business processes, using tools and methodologies (such as process model diagrams), in order to make recommendations and improve internal processes in the context of developing a software solution for an internal client

+ Map business processes of internal clients ensuring alignment with ERP application best practices

+ Document and/or review user requirements, communicating, translating and simplifying business requirements to ensure understanding and buy-in from all stakeholders

+ Translate business requirements into functional specifications, preparing functional design and specifications

+ Discover, organize and clarify business needs in order to review or produce specifications for change

+ Partner with application developers to ensure each project meets the business needs and resolves problems successfully

+ Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing software, hardware and IT business processes

+ Communicate technology requirements to developers and end-users, acting as a liaison between Hovione Business groups and application developers and system analysts

+ Compile and distribute reports on application development and deployment

+ Keep strong and effective working relationships with internal business partners, external customers and suppliers guaranteeing that all parties are informed

+ Master ERP (SAP) processes and tools

+ Manage complex projects/ analysis with significant impact on business

+ Make quality and timely decisions based on multiple sources of data

+ Manage risk and uncertainty; anticipate and escalate roadblocks in order to prevent deviations to the goals

+ Comply with all IT governance, standards and policies in practice in Hovione

+ Execute professional activities in compliance with GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements as well as promote the implementation and maintenance of Hovione´s policies, systems and procedures (COPs, HBR, SOPs and others).



+ Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with environmental, health & safety rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice.




We are looking to recruit a Candidate:


+ University, or equivalent, qualification in Information Technology or similar scientific field (mandatory)

+ Typically requires 5-8 years of relevant experience in system and functional analysis and/or relevant work experience in software development

+ Advanced knowledge of the ERP application (SAP) with the ability to solve complex problems and perform complex system configuration

+ Fluency in English is a requirement

+ Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package
