We’re looking for bright Java Fullstack Wannabes to join our team

At Critical TechWorks, we are at the cutting edge of BMW Group’s technologies, and our Java Fullstack Wannabes are the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.

This role is perfect for motivated learners eager to dive into the world of Java Fullstack development, combining Backend and Frontend expertise to create impactful solutions.

If you're passionate about software, love a challenge, and are ready to embark on an exciting learning journey, this is your opportunity to become a Java Fullstack Hero.

Your Journey as a Java Fullstack Wannabe:

• Intensive hands-on Learning Program: Participate in our two-month on site Academy , starting on the 3rd of November .
  
  Training will be fully in-person for the first two months, and after its completion, our hybrid model of three days per week in the office will apply.
  
  You'll learn fundamental concepts of Software Development, Backend (Java), Frontend (Angular), and relevant technologies.
  
  DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Automation, and Infrastructure as Code, are also covered.
  
  You’ll get the chance to raise your tech skills by getting your hands on a real-world project!

• Apply your knowledge : After completing the Academy, join a multidisciplinary team to continuously improve your skills, mastering the complete lifecycle of an application and building highly performant distributed systems in cloud infrastructure.
  
  

• Fullstack Development : Work across the full technical stack, from developing robust backend services in Java to creating interactive user interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks.
  
  

• Agile Methodology Participation : Actively engage in Scrum events, contributing to the agile development process.
  
  

Whatever you’re working on, here’s the lowdown on the technical skills you’ll be developing:

• Software Development : Learn and apply fundamental software development principles.
  
  

• Object-Oriented Programming : Develop proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts and practices.
  
  

• Frontend Technologies : Master JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  
  

• Database Integration: Learn to work with databases, ensuring smooth data flow and storage.
  
  

• Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) : Implement CI/CD practices to automate testing and deployment processes.
  
  

• Cloud Infrastructure & Containerization : Get hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies.
  
  

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Use tools like Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure management.
  
  

• Observability : Understand and apply observability practices for monitoring and maintaining software systems.
  
  

The Essential Skills for Your Journey

• Have an Educational background in a related field .
  
  Long-term academic courses, such as bachelor's and master's degrees, will be prioritized.
  
  

• Be a team player with excellent English oral and written skills .
  
  

• Have a strong motivation for software development and the listed technical domains .
  
  

• Be ready to adapt and learn continuously in a dynamic workplace.

• Run and operate developed software inside and outside working hours if needed, to provide high quality software services (extra compensation will be applicable).
  
  

• Be available to travel abroad for short periods , as required to support all the phases of the product development cycle when needed.
