As a member of the Data Engineering team, you’ll have access to the research, knowledge and tools to create leading-edge solutions across Avanade’s Business Intelligence practice.

The role of an Analytics Data Engineering Manager is for ambitious technologists passionate about working with the latest Microsoft cloud technology and Microsoft experts.

What you’ll do
* Architecture, design, development and delivery of enterprise-grade Business Intelligence solutions based on the Microsoft Data Platform
* Working on high profile projects with well-known clients across various sectors
* Help clients realise the potential of data science, machine learning and scaled processing within Microsoft Azure
* Mentoring of more junior team members and supporting their personal development
* Achieving & maintaining Microsoft certification.
Skills and experiences
* Strong communication skills and consulting experience with significant client impact and value creation
* Strong background of enterprise BI and data warehousing concepts and methods with the ability to adapt and tailor based on requirements
* Understanding of software engineering tools and concepts.
Other desired skills include:
* Working with modern data platforms (MPP architectures) and technology (Data Factory, Data Lake Store [gen 2], Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL).
