The TD SYNNEX Advanced Services Business in Europe is a team of technology experts and project managers.  We provide professional and managed services to our partners to help them grow their businesses as they sell technology solutions to end customers.  We work with specialized services partners globally to scale the services we can take to market in support of our partner needs and combine our deep understanding of hybrid cloud technology and best practices for delivery of projects and support in a channel model to successful outcomes for our vendors and partners.

About the role:

Certified architect with specialist knowledge and proven experience in AWS technologies supporting the European country local sales and our channel partners in pre and post-sales activities as we sell and deliver cloud migration, modernization, management, optimization and cybersecurity services.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with partners translating business requirements into appropriate AWS technical services and solutions;

• Collaborate with EMEA sales and pre-sales teams to drive business results, enhance win rates and deliver great customer outcomes;

• Collaborate internally with our technical project managers and with our strategic services suppliers to assess, quote, deliver and manage our services to our AWS partners.

• Become the technical services AWS expert; help to define, design and evolve the AWS services portfolio for Europe.

• Maintain up to date AWS certifications.

Requirements:

We are looking for a professional with experience as Solution Architect or Technical Consultant in AWS, able to understand the customer requirements and issues, to design solutions that match the evolving market needs and with a deep competence in all the technologies typically involved in a modern architecture for the digital transformation and roadmap to cloud.

Knowledge and background in enterprise scale infrastructure architecture, data architecture, middleware architecture, cloud architecture (IaaS & PaaS), and specific AWS services and technology is strongly preferred.

Skills required:

• Thorough understanding of infrastructure (hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution.

• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in IT and a background including architecture, implementation and delivery of hardware and software systems in real-world situations (Lift & Shift, Cloud Native Development, Cloud Security, Hybrid Cloud integration).

• Wide knowledge of IT market and trends.

• Significant C­level presentation experience;

• Specific knowledge of AWS industry solutions;

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification minimum (ideally)

• Hands on experience with AWS and strong understanding of AWS capabilities and limitations;

Required qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent;

• Background and proven experience working in IT industry as Architect, Pre-Sales, Engineer or as a Technical Consultant.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and persuasive skills essential;

• Fluent in English and other languages are a plus;

• AWS Certifications
