Job Title: Associate Software Engineer

Position Overview:

As an Associate Software Engineer at Intapp, you will contribute to our AI-powered, industry-specific cloud platform that supports leading professional and financial services firms.

Working alongside senior engineers, technical leads, product managers, and designers, you will gain mentorship and hands-on learning opportunities that support your technical growth and career development.

You will enhance existing applications, help develop new features, and contribute to product innovation within established frameworks.

This hybrid role requires presence at our Lisbon office three days per week.

As part of our learning program, you will join a structured program designed to accelerate your skills and prepare you for long-term success at Intapp.

What you will do:

Work on the design and development of scalable end-to-end Software as a Service (SaaS) products.

Implement complex solutions using using one or more the following - .Net, C#, Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Node.js, Javascript, Angular, React, Typescript.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, define system architecture, and propose technical solutions.

Implement best practices for security, performance, and reliability in software development and cloud architecture.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and practices.

Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to foster their professional growth.

Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development and cloud computing.

What you will need:

Exposure to modern programming languages (typically less than 2 years), with emphasis on statically typed languages (C#/.NET, Java).

JavaScript/TypeScript experience is a plus.

Basic understanding of relational databases (eg PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server).

Some knowledge of designing, building, and deploying applications on any major cloud providers.

Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.

Exposure to containerization and orchestration concepts (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and awareness of CI/CD automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).

Problem-solving mindset, with a growing ability to analyze technical challenges and suggest solutions.

Awareness of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Fluency in English.
